The rear fixtures are angled at 45 degrees for optimal anchorage. These implants serve as support for your new teeth, which are crafted from premium materials such as monolithic zirconia, porcelain, acrylic, and titanium. In some cases, depending on your bone structure, medical history, stature and dental condition, Dr Leo may opt to place 5 or 6 implants instead of 4. More implants do not necessarily indicate increased support for the bridge, but may be beneficial regardless in some cases. Having more implants may have drawbacks as well. On the same day of the implants being placed, you’ll receive a provisional fixed set of teeth for four months while the implants heal and integrate with your jawbone. Your final teeth are made after this healing period. These teeth are fully functional, allowing you to chew, and treat them like natural teeth right away.
